Distorted image_

What if the way we see ourselves is already distorted—before anyone else even looks? Starting from the quote by Charles Horton Cooley—"I’m not what I think I am, I’m what I think, you think I am"—the work explores the fragmented nature of self-image, especially in relation to the gaze. Using distortion as both a visual and conceptual tool, the garments, silhouettes, and prints reflect warped proportions, tension, and ambiguity. References to André Kertész, Cindy Sherman, and Dorothea Tanning echo through the research, blending surrealism with vulnerability, humor with resistance. Shadows, mirrors, masks—everything becomes material. The result is not a fixed image, but a shifting surface of possibilities.
